There are several different types of reports that can be run from the Invoice Module. This will discuss how to access these reports and create them. Use of these reports is limited only by the users’ imagination, and the amount of information entered into the program.

  1. Invoice Module Reports.

    1. Manufacturer Summary
      1. Generates a report that show current month sales, current month commissions, space for actual commissions, and last year’s sales for all product lines.
        1. Based on the sales month selected.
          1. When selecting this report, a pop-up window will be displayed asking you to select the desired month and year to base the report on.
          2. Select the checkbox for the desired month.
          3. Type in the desired year.
          4. Click on the “OK” button
        2. Can be used as a monthly report for principals.
        3. Should be run only for months in which sales are fully reconciled.
        4. Actual commission space is for writing in the actual commission amount received from the manufacturer.
          1. Allows for quick verification of commission checks versus commissions earned.
      2. Manufacturer Invoices
        1. Generates a report, by manufacturer, for a desired time frame, sorted by selected criteria.
        2. Can be used for reconciliation purposes.
          1. Based on the following criteria
            1. Start Date of Report
            2. End Date of Report
            3. Product Line Desired
            4. Can then be sorted by the following
              1. Company
              2. Entry Date
              3. Sales Week
              4. Mfg ID
              5. Invoice Date
              6. Invoice Number
              7. PO Number
              8. Amount
              9. Less freight Net
              10. Overage
              11. Commission
            5. Can then be further sorted by the following
              1. Company
              2. Entry Date
              3. Sales Week
              4. Mfg ID
              5. Invoice Date
              6. Invoice Number
              7. PO Number
              8. Amount
              9. Less freight Net
              10. Overage
              11. Commission
      3. Post Invoices to Company
        1. Used to post invoices that have been entered to the program.
        2. MUST be done in order to post sales and or commission figures to the individual companies.
          1. When selecting this report, a pop-up window will be displayed asking you to select the desired month and year to base the report on.
            1. Select the checkbox for the desired month.
            2. Type in the desired year.
            3. Click on the “OK” button
        3. ONLY THE SELECTED MONTH WILL BE POSTED. Previous months are not reposted for the selected year. If previous months are desired to be reposted, they must be done on an individual basis.
