Job Files

What is a Job File?

A Job File is a way to store information pertaining to a specific Quoted Job in one place so that the information is easily accessible at a later date in a quick and efficient manner.

Unlike paper job files, electronic job files are easy to manage, easy to find, and easy to read.
Because of the tagging system used by the InDepthRep program when uploading documents to a job file, user’s can easily find the specific document for the specific job without needing to flip through large files of multiple documents simply by filtering and sorting based upon the tags applied during the initial document upload.

Job files, in the InDepthRep Program, are stored attached to the actual quote used for the job. This means that the a user can simply open the Quote Module, search for the name of the job desired, and then once found, select the quote and then simply click one button to see a list of all the Job File documents for the selected job.

Also, simply by viewing the job quotation, the user can see a visual representation of how many job files are attached to the selected quote by looking at the number in parenthesis on the "Show Job Files" button.

User’s can also search within the Paperless Module for a specific document, and when selected, simply view a list of all other documents which are also in the same Job File.
