The Price List Series module is used to create a list of similar items with a single description yet variations in model number. It is best used for items that are available in multiple sizes or with slight variations. (Ex: A valve that comes in sizes from 2/8” to 3” or a floor drain that has outlet sizes of 2”-6”)

Price List Series may ONLY contain items from one product Line.

1. To add items to a Price List Series

   1. Click the “Add Record” button.

   2. Select the product line for the series from the type searchable drop down list.

   3. Enter a name for the Series in the Series Name field.

      1. This name will be displayed on the outgoing quotes as the Model Number for the series.

   4. Enter a brief description of the series in the Description field.

   5. Click in the PL Model Number field to open the Price List Find window.

   6. Select the Price List item to be added from the Find Window.

      1. If the item has options, you are able to select them and save them within the series before advancing to the Order field.

   7. Enter the order number for the new item. This sets the display order for all of the items in the series.

   8. Specify the quantity of the selected item to be included in the assembly.

   9. Continue for each item to be added, until the group is completely populated.

   10. Enter the description to the Series Description field.

       1. This can be hand entered or entered from an existing description.

       2. To enter from an existing description.

          1. Select the item with the description you wish to use as the series description by clicking on that line item.

          2. Once selected, click on the “Update Description” button to copy the selected description into the Series Description field.

2. To verify the items in a specified Price List Series.

   1. Click the “Find Price List Series” button.

   2. Select the desired series from the type searchable list.

   3. Review the items list for the specified Price List Series.

3. To add a Price List Series of items to a quote.

   1. Ensure the proper quote is open in the Quotations module.

   2. Click the “Find Price List Series” button.

   3. Select the desired series from the type searchable list.

   4. Click on the “Add to Quote” button or use the keyboard shortcut of “ALT-A”
