- Product Lines Setup -

*** NOTE ***
You must set up the manufacturer company information in the Company Module
before setting up the product line.

  1. Click “ADD RECORD”
    1. Enter in Product Line Abbreviation in Window (maximum of 7 characters).
    2. Enter Product Line Company Name.
    3. Enter base commission as percentage (ex 1.0 = 100%, 0.1 = 10%)
    4. Set the Month End for the Company.
      1. Month end can be set by:
        1. Choosing a Week and Day of the Week.
        2. Choosing the Specific Date.
    5. Enter Miscellaneous information, such as freight terms, payment terms, etc
    6. Enter Default Multipliers as desired. These will appear in Price List and Quotes Modules as multiplier options, and can be used in the Price List Module in the cost calculator for quick pricing calculations.

  2. Click on Line’s Info tab.
    1. Click on Drop down arrow in Company Link Box.
    2. Select the correct Company Name and all company information should automatically import into the fields below.
    3. Verify Company Information is correct.

  3. Click on Line’s People Tab
    1. Verify People information for the linked company.
