Generating Quote Follow Up Report


The Quote Follow Up module allows the user to generate a report based upon the Filtered and Sorted data, which can be viewed, emailed, or printed for later use.

All of the data entered, allows the user to specify which data they desire to view (See Filtering and Sorting the Quote Follow Up Report), before compiling the report.

Once the user has completed specifying their desired data, the report generation is as easy as simply clicking on the "Quote Follow Up Report" button, located in the upper right corner of the Quote Follow Up module form.

Once the user has selected to generate the reoprt, the user will be prompted as to whether or not they wish the "in House" and "Purchasing" comments to be displayed or not on the printed report. Once this prompt is answered, the preview of the report will be displayed and the user can then decide to Print or E-Mail the report as desired.

To print the report, simply click on the printer icon on the toolbar, or use the File-Print option from the toolbar.

To E-Mail the report, follow these steps:

  1. Click on File on the main toolbar.

  2. Select "Send to" from the drop down menu.

  3. Select "Mail recipient (as attachment)..." from the sub menu.

  4. A "Send" dialog window will appear asking for the desired format for the attachment. For best readability, we recommend the "Snapshot Format" be utilized as this is the native format for the report within the InDepthRep Program.

    1. If another format is selected, proper formatting may not be maintained, making it difficult to read the contents of the report.

    2. If the recipient does not have the Microsoft Snapshot viewer installed on their computer, they can get it for free from either of the following sources:

      1. From the Microsoft website.

      2. From the InDepthRep Website

  5. Once the desired format is selected, click "OK" to proceed. An E-Mail message will open with the report already attached, allowing the user to input all desired recipients and any message necessary.

  6. Once all information has been entered onto the E-Mail message, simply click on "Send" to immediately send the the message to the selected list of recipients.
