- Sales Analysis Overview -

Sales Analysis may be viewed through several different portions of the program.

Sales Analysis may be viewed on an individual company basis in the Company Module, on an individual product line, or all product line, basis from the Product Lines Module, on an individual salesperson, or all salesperson, basis from the Salesman Module, or on an individual territory, or all territory, basis from the Territory Module.

Each possibility offers various ways to filter, sort, and view information, as well as various pros and cons. Users are encouraged to investigate all methods to determine which method works best for differing circumstances.

Several Sales Analysis methods also offer the ability to enter projected sales number or sales quotas, which, when used in conjunction with base commission numbers, will also provide projected revenue numbers. (See Forecasting and Budgeting)

All sales numbers are based upon invoices entered in the Invoices Module, and as such, should be accurate when compared to manufacturer’s sales reports, and manufacturer’s commission reports. This allows reconciliation against both of these reports from within the InDepthRep program.
